Kiosk Mode

Kiosk mode enables a greater degree of control over the in-VR experience for a company's employees or end users. As an admin, you can use kiosk mode to ensure that the headsets will only be used as intended, such as for training or other Oculus for Business-enabled app experiences.

To enable kiosk mode:

  1. From Device Manager, click on Device Fleet.

  2. Click the headset or group of headsets you want to enable kiosk mode for, then click Settings.

  3. Click next to Kiosk Mode, then select On.

  4. Select the app you want to enable kiosk mode for from the drop-down menu, then click Save.

Kiosk mode will be enabled on the selected headsets after they've synced with Device Manager. Rebooting the headsets will initiate a sync.

When kiosk mode is enabled, you can access settings for brightness, volume, resetting the headset view and more.

Settings for changing Wi-Fi networks, launching new apps and capturing your screen, for example, require approval from your administrator.

Currently, you can't customise your Home while using Oculus for Business.
